Monthly Labeled Carts are READY!!!

Okay just wanted to post pics of my recent projects :)

And... here are some pics of the labels I made for my carts.  I am ready to start filling up these drawers with monthly goodies :)))

The Treasure Box!!!  I was sooo lucky to find these cute little rub on stickers on sale at Target...and they were just perfect since I LOVE LOVE LOVE music!!! The box is from Hobby Lobby...you know.... the store that you walk in and forget about everything and everyone :))))

Updated Alphabet Chart and Posters

Okay....I finally updated the alphabet chart and posters with the Koala for "K", and Umbrella for U.... I couldn't find anything that fits the the letter "U" and has a short sound that fits for Spanish and English.  If one of my bilingual followers ever comes across something please let me know :)

Just click on the pics and they should take you to the updated docs :)

Another Freebie LABELS

Hello to all my new followers! You just don't know how happy I am that you guys found my page :)!!!!  Okay, well I haven't forgotten to go and update my alphabet chart.  I am just trying to think of what to use for the letter "U". For now, I will probably switch it to Umbrella (just to have the short "U" sound while I think of a word that fits both Spanish and English.

I'm sorry I haven't posted recently.  I have been working Summer School and working on the little kitchen for my classroom... I am so excited!!!! it's starting to look sooo cute (pics to come :))...

Now on to my freebie :)...  I have two sets of labels.  The first set you can use for Sterilite 3-Drawer Carts that you can purchase at Wal-Mart or Target.  I have 3 of them. I made some monthly labels to go on them.  I purposely left them black and white because using color ink for everything is just killing me!!! Sooooo expensive!!!  So... what I will do, is use super-cute scrapbook paper and attach these labels to them.  (I will post pics later!) :)

The second set is also in black and white.  Most of these labels are smaller.  I found some cute colorful cube-like containers at Dollar Tree that have lids on them. These labels will fit perfect on those or even on the shoe size plastic containers that are sold everywhere.  I also included a few labels that are longer for Sterilite Carts.  I hope you can use them! Again, sorry they are not in color, but if you use super-cute scrapbook paper with them they look fabulous!!!!

I think I went overboard with the labels...but seriously teachers have A LOT of stuff!!!! :)

Pencil Holders

Today after working Summer school, I took a little trip to the dollar store. I wanted to look for stuff to use on some of those pinterest projects I keep pinning :).  I was soooooo excited to find these little metal plant pot thingies to use for my pencil holders!!!! I was really looking for some hot pink ones like I saw on pinterest...but there weren't any pink...lucky boys!!! So I bought 2 of the yellow ones and painted some blue dots on them and I love the way they came out!!! So here is my $2 project of the day!!!!

Ohhh while I was there I also went a little crazy with the colored baskets/bins.... I won't say how many I bought, but I think I'm covered for the year heeheeheehee :)

Painted Book Shelf

This is an old plain white bookshelf from my boys' room....I decided to give it a bit of color :)

Benches to go with Writing Center

Here is one of the 4 little benches that my husband made for my writing center.  I am using the left over fabric from the curtains in my classroom (twin sheet set that I got from Ross) and the foam cushion stuffing that was in my little one's mat from Pre-K....for the pillows.
Without the pillow...a litte too hard...

With pillow...just right!!!!

My Share Chair

Okay, this next post will be my  "Share Chair". I got the idea from pinterest but wanted a bit more color....so here you go! I thought about Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.... and my son told me to draw a monkey next to it.  I googled some pics and found a cute monkey. I was worried I wouldn't be able to draw it but I think it came out pretty good!!! :)

Going back to KINDER and couldn't be HAPPIER!!!

Okay...I am new to this blogging stuff but soooo excited to start my own!!!  I wanted to create a blog to start sharing my ideas as I work on all my Summer projects for my KINDERGARTEN classroom next year!!  Yay!!! So let's see if I can do this correctly.

So here is my first project!!!!
I think the only thing I actually spent money on was the fabric!!!  Everything else was in my garage!!!!!
