My name is Alma and I have been teaching for 20 years now and still going strong. I have taught Pre-K & up- currently I am teaching 3rd grade!
This looks great and is so creative! I teach 2nd and thought I could do this but take it a step further and have the students figure out how tall they are in both inches and centimeters. Thanks for the idea!

ReplyDeleteThe measuring idea is so great. Children love doing this. I will do this in the fall when preschool begins and then at the end of the year we will compare!
ReplyDeleteI teach 4th grade and I think I will use this during the first week of school for teamwork and practice of measuring. We will use yard sticks and convert to inches and maybe meter sticks to cm.. I think I will have a chart paper title "Observations" and see what observations the students can make about the data!!
